You are not a type.
You are a unique pattern — and patterns have layers. Px gives you serious tools to explore those layers, at whatever depth suits you. Start with a two-minute glimpse or go as deep as you like. No tier is better than another. They are different resolutions of the same picture.
What we measure
Most personality tools pick one lens and stop. Px covers several areas — personality traits, emotional patterns, sensory processing, worldview, and more. Understanding one area is useful. Understanding how more than one interact is where things get interesting.
Traits
For example, the Big Five personality dimensions — the most researched framework in personality science. Not who you want to be. Who you actually are, measured across five independent axes.
Emotions
How you process, respond to, and recover from emotional experience. Not a mood diary — a structural map of your emotional patterns.
Body & Senses
Sensory processing sensitivity, embodiment, and the physical experience of being you. Most platforms ignore this. It matters more than most people think.
Growth & Worldview
The values and meaning structures that shape how you see the world. Not political alignment — something deeper. How you decide what matters.
Archetypes
Eight archetypes — each representing a different gift you bring to the world. From the Stag's standards to the Otter's curiosity, your archetype captures the core of how you contribute.
Choose your depth
Every assessment on Px has a depth level. A Glimpse is not a teaser for the “real” assessment — it is a genuine reading at a lighter resolution. An Insight goes deeper. A Depth assessment goes deeper still. You choose the level that fits what you need right now.
Glimpse
~3 minutesA quick reading
A short assessment that gives you one clear result — enough to recognise something about yourself and decide whether you want to know more. Designed to be quick, honest, and shareable.
Our first Glimpse-level assessment identifies your Role — which of eight animal archetypes best captures the gift you naturally bring.
Best for: Curiosity. A starting point. Something to share with a friend or colleague and compare notes over coffee.
- •A single, meaningful result
- •A short portrait of what that result means for you
- •A prompt to go deeper if you recognise yourself
Insight
~10 minutesMore to work with
A fuller assessment that reveals more about a particular area of who you are. Not clinically rigorous, but substantially more useful than a two-minute reading. Enough to sit with and learn from.
Our first Insight assessment produces a personalised portrait of your personality signature — the kind of result you might actually recognise yourself in.
Best for: Anyone who wants a real mirror — not a label, but something with enough texture to be genuinely useful.
- •A richer, more detailed result
- •A personalised portrait written for your specific combination
- •Links into deeper reading on each dimension
Depth
30–60 minutesSerious self-knowledge
A thorough assessment built for people who want real depth in a specific area — personality, emotional patterns, strengths, or worldview. These take time because the questions earn their place. The results are detailed enough to inform real decisions.
Best for: Coaches, people navigating career transitions, leaders investing in self-awareness, anyone who has felt that a quick personality test doesn’t capture the half of it.
- •Detailed, nuanced results across multiple dimensions
- •Contextual interpretation that explains what your scores actually mean
- •A report substantial enough to return to and learn from over time
Extended
90+ minutesThe full picture, no shortcuts
A comprehensive assessment for people who want to go as deep as the research allows. Hundreds of items, fine-grained results, and the kind of detail that reveals things shorter assessments can’t reach. Not for everyone — but if you want this level, nothing less will do.
Best for: The genuinely curious. Researchers, therapists, and anyone who finds that more data means more insight, not more noise.
- •Fine-grained results across many dimensions
- •The most detailed portrait Px can produce in a given area
- •Results that reward revisiting as your understanding deepens
Depth and breadth are different things
The levels above describe how deep a single assessment goes. But Px covers many areas — personality traits, emotions, sensory processing, worldview, and more. You can take assessments across different areas for a more rounded picture of yourself. That breadth is a separate choice from depth, and there is always more to explore.
What makes this different
Where validated instruments exist, we use them — built by researchers, published in the literature, tested on real populations. Where they don’t, we build our own tools grounded in the same research. We’re honest about which is which. The Glimpse, for example, is drawn from established personality frameworks but is our own short-form reading — useful, not clinical.
Yes, a Glimpse is a teaser — we hope you’ll want to explore further. But it’s also a genuine indication of one dimension of who you are. Insight goes deeper. Depth and Extended go deeper still. Each level gives you something real at its own resolution.
We don’t think people are four-letter types or colour wheels. Human beings are complicated, and the tools that measure them should take that seriously. That means combining multiple frameworks, measuring multiple dimensions, and never pretending that a single score tells the whole story.
The platform is free where possible. We aim to be genuinely helpful. If you take the Glimpse and never come back, you still leave with something real. That matters to us.
Start with a Glimpse. It takes just a few minutes.
You might recognise yourself.
